The “Trademark Infringement Online: Real-World Solutions for E-Commerce Lawyers” course with Prof. Ofodile (alumna of Harvard Law School) is designed to expose you to the challenges e-businesses face using and protecting their trademarks on the Internet and to equip you with the legal tools that you can use to fight back. 

 

Given the international nature of e-commerce, the course is taught from a practical and comparative standpoint of European, American, and international law.

The course takes place on May 11 (Saturday), 2024 on Zoom.

Uché Ofodile

Professor Uché Ewelukwa Ofodile is an alumna of Harvard Law School and University College London. From 2021-2022 she was  a Senior Fellow of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.  Professor Ofodile is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Professor Ofodile has taught and/or lectured at many universities around the world including Columbia University, Tufts University, and the American University of Armenia. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including awards from the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs, the American Bar Association Section of International Law, Harvard Law School, and the Albert Einstein Institution. 

Professor Ofodile has authored numerous book chapters, articles, and essays. Her articles have appeared in refereed and policy-oriented journals including Michigan Journal of International Law, Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, Yale Journal of Law and Development, International Legal Materials, The International Lawyer, Transnational Dispute Management, UC Davis Law Review–Online, and others.

Professor Ofodile is now a professor of law at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she teaches in the international law and intellectual property fields.

Participants will receive a set of materials that can also be used as a handy resource after the course.

All of our courses are certified. 
 

Upon the completion of the course, you will be awarded an official digital certificate signed by the CFAS President. You may then print the certificate​ at home, use it to apply for various academic positions, or simply post it to your LinkedIn or other professional channels​.
 

The certificate shows the number of hours so you may also use it to satisfy the Continuing Legal Education requirement set by your Bar Association.
